Current Projects

We encourage people to feed native pollinators!  There are different ways to do this but ideally, dedicating a space to native flowers, trees and shrubs on your lawn or garden is the best, in order to feed pollinators throughout the growing season.  We also encourage the public not to mow their lawn for the month of May to allow pollinators to access pollen from the year's first flowers.

Gardens in the community

We are currently building garden boxes that will be used at nursing homes and special care homes in the community.  These garden boxes will be used by residents.  In addition, we are collaborating with the Association for community living to help them purchase fruiting plants that their participants will be able to harvest fruit from.
